Lightning Warning Policy
Players will be warned by our Thor Guard lightning prediction system, which sounds (1) one prolonged blast of the horns, located on the Clubhouse and the course. This signal indicates that lightning is imminent and play should be suspended. Golfers should leave their respective holes and return to the clubhouse.
Resumption of play is signaled by (3) three five-second blasts of the horn. It is the policy of the Downers Grove Golf Course that check-ins and range bucket sales will also be suspended until the Lightning Warning is lifted.
